The scene where Candy found two crest badges was added by Igarashi at her discretion.
And it was removed by Mizuki when they reproduce the stories in tankobon format.
Mizuki said;
I couldn't check the thumbnails of the chapter, because I was staying in overseas.
Several months before, when I was in overseas, "a serious problem" had happened once. The story never ran off the rails of my main plot by the 'serious problem', I made a compromise with her.*
But I was not able to allow the "two crest badges".
"Prince's badge is very important thing, two or more badges should not appear in story!" I was angry with her and our editor.
At the time, the editor had just arrived at his post newly. He and Ms. Igarashi said that they should give readers a hint that Arbert is 'prince on the hill'.
That was the reason why Candy found two crest badges by 'Deus ex machine'.
* It means the scene where Alistair fell in battle.
Mizuki ha detto;
